What this draws from

This generator narrows the draw to the catalog’s fish group before you press anything: 71 fish, from reef species to river and pond fish. Watch the “-fish” trap here too: this group is real fish only, not the invertebrates that happen to share the word, such as jellyfish, starfish or crayfish, which live in the separate invertebrate group and its own generator.

How teachers use it

  • An aquatic life unit where each child gets a different fish to look up, and nobody duplicates.
